For the Nuggets:


1 lb ground chicken


½ cup breadcrumbs (whole wheat or panko)


¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese


1 egg


1 tsp garlic powder


1 tsp onion powder


½ tsp paprika


½ tsp salt


¼ tsp black pepper


1 tbsp milk (or water)



For the Coating:


1 cup panko breadcrumbs


¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese


1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)

👨‍🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions


Step 1: Prepare the Chicken Mixture


In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and milk. Combine well until the mixture holds together. If it's too sticky, add more breadcrumbs.


Step 2: Shape the Nuggets


Scoop a tablespoon of the mixture, roll into a ball, then flatten slightly into nugget shapes. Repeat until all mixture is used.


Step 3: Coat the Nuggets


In a separate bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan. Coat each nugget in the breadcrumb mix, pressing gently for better coverage.


Step 4: Bake the Nuggets


Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Place nuggets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Lightly brush or spray with olive oil.

Bake for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temp: 165°F / 75°C).
